My son Jedidiah came home for a visit. We are going to go to KELLER tonight. He is bringing his friend Jimmy along, too. ClearSky clock looks like it is summertime. Should be a good night.
August 5, 2016 at 6:29 pm #12108Correct, Jeff, EB is out for the whole weekend. What time were you thinking of getting to Keller? I was thinking 8:30 or so to set up with some light.
August 5, 2016 at 6:40 pm #12109Julie, yes, about then. Looks like sunset is 8:28. Probably won't be able to see much until 9 or later, get some early moon and maybe other planets (Venus, Mercury, Jupiter) before they set.
August 5, 2016 at 6:43 pm #12110See you at Keller! I was toying with the idea of setting up in time for some solar viewing.

August 26, 2016 at 8:38 pm #12118If it's clear (before midnight) and If the StarBQ is off: Would anyone else want to head out to Keller?
August 28, 2016 at 1:58 am #121198/27 8:14:37 PM CDT – Venus and Jupiter. In two minutes later covered by clouds again…
August 29, 2016 at 1:51 pm #12120Since StarBQ is off until the end of September, I'll get this started early.
Is Eagle Bluff available this weekend? Since next Monday is a holiday, I suppose it could be on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights. π
Friday – Sunset 7:43 – Moonset 8:28
Saturday – Sunset 7:41 – Moonset 8:53
Sunday – Sunset 7:43 – Moonset 9:24This morning, I think they did say rain on Sunday.
September 1, 2016 at 7:07 pm #12121Dean is going to check with Eagle Bluff for this weekend and should know today. Friday night looks to have clear skies and Saturday mostly clear but with a few more clouds around.
