Our thanks to the astronomers who brought their gear to the NE dog park last (Friday) night. There were a lot of families there and RAC club members were helpful to everyone who wanted a peek or asked a question. The short program at the beginning of the event was well done.
We are new to the Rochester area and to the RAC, so it was great chatting with several people who brought telescopes. While it was difficult to see faces, the voices we chatted with were warm and friendly on a chilly (but clear!) night.
