Well, clouds came in. It was pretty much open to the south to start. I thought it looked for awhile like the clouds were pulling north a bit, and the thicker clouds stayed there. But then some lighter clouds started covering most things. There would be hole, but I decided to call it a night anyway. Left around 9:00. Nice while it lasted. Jupiter has 2 pair of moons on the same side, 2 groups of 2, pretty neat. Nice gibbous Venus up quite high. Did a quick run through of some Messiers to the south, 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 78, 79, 93. Then cloudy. Hope tomorrow is better, I guess a little cooler, so perhaps less cloudy. til tomorrow…
