Many of us were in the eclipse pathway through NE Arkansas and SE Missouri where the clouds were parted providing a great view. I had my Starblast 4.5 reflector and cell phone setup and one totality picture is below. Also got an binocular view of comet 12P the night before the eclipse.

jimApril 28, 2024 at 5:37 pm #14707Thanks Jim. As I did in 2017, I compared my Starblast images with orbiting observatory photos (the Solar Dynamic Observatory or SDO in particular) to have a comparison for sunspots and solar flares present on April 8. Blink comparative images are shown below.
I would certainly enjoy seeing observations of other members too!
April 30, 2024 at 4:47 pm #14711April 8th 2024 from Southern Illinois. 29 images, each was 4-6 images stacked. All but the total used a neutral density filter. Taken with a Canon R50.
