Greetings! I was at Mayo High School Friday night and really appreciated your willingness to come out in spite of the cold and clouds. I passed along your website address to several families along with the information that you sometimes do public viewings. In response, someone asked me how she can tell what events of yours are public. Can we tell that by looking at the calendar on your website?
Thanks,
DeeMay 18, 2016 at 5:25 am #12063Dee, I'm sorry we didn't have more to show on that cold cloudy night, but all of our stargazing events are public and free. If anyone has specific questions or want to set up a small group for viewing, they can contact me through the "contact" link on the left side of our website.
Thanks!
RandyMay 22, 2016 at 12:36 am #12064Full moon and all, I'm going to head out to Keller for a bit, take a gander at a few planets.
May 28, 2016 at 7:30 pm #12065Dean and I plan on going out Sunday evening to Eagle Bluff, weather permitting. Stay tuned!

May 29, 2016 at 11:11 pm #12066Dean and I won't be making it to Eagle Bluff. Local viewing only. (Eagle Bluff is still open).
June 10, 2016 at 1:10 am #12067Friday, June 10th doesn't look so good. But Saturday early evening might be OK. If it's clear, anyone interested in Keller?
June 10, 2016 at 2:19 pm #12068Yeah, if its clear I would be interested in doing some viewing at Keller.
ThanksJune 10, 2016 at 7:21 pm #12069Hmm, perhaps. If anyone goes, please post.
June 11, 2016 at 3:38 am #12070Ditto. Will be watching the skies and any chatter if people are going…
June 12, 2016 at 12:28 am #12071So looking at the radar, it's "mostly clear"-"Partly cloudy". But, I have been itching to get out, so I'm going to make a go for it at Keller. Ill try to get out there and setup a little before sun set. Hopefully I can cloud hop.
June 29, 2016 at 11:14 pm #12072Anyone have plans for observing this weekend? Keller, Eagle Bluff, (at home), some other remote location?
Is Eagle Bluff open?
June 30, 2016 at 1:27 am #12073i'm waiting to see what everyone else is doing. If it's EB i would prefer Sat night,
but if everyone goes Friday i will try. If no one is going to EB i will go to Keller. since
i have a new scope (Z12) i am surely going somewhere!
jimJune 30, 2016 at 6:28 pm #12074If it folks are looking to head out to EB, I'll be there. Got a new Advanced VX mount I really would like to get under some clear skies. I'll keep my eyes open.
July 1, 2016 at 4:54 am #12075Dean Johnson did call Eagle Bluff and they are wide open all weekend long. I can't make Friday or Saturday night, but Dean might be able to make Saturday night, and we both for certain will be down there on Sunday night. Weather forecast looks great. I think it's wide open to get out when you can!

July 1, 2016 at 2:17 pm #12076Due to other commitments, we're planning to hit Keller after 9pm tonight. Although it won't be a late night (or early morning) as we'd like to have plenty of reserve for Sat/Sun at Eagle Bluff.
