RAC Members Dark Sky Night on Saturday, July 18, 2026

A slim waxing crescent Moon will hang in the evening sky, followed by the first hints of the 2026 Perseids. After twilight fades, dark skies will open the way for the summer Milky Way and a full night of observing.

Suggested arrival: 7:30–8:30 PM
Twilight observing: 9:30–10:45 PM
Best dark-sky observing: after 11:00 PM
No backup date, so hope for clear skies.
