Moon observing at ZooDazzle.

Friday December 6 was again night of the Public Sky Observing. This time was at Oxbow Park also ZooDazzle, hosted by a non-profit organization the Friends of Oxbow. It is a fundraiser for Zollman Zoo. This annual event is designed to get families out to the zoo at evening to see about 200,000 lights, which Park is decorated with, animals, Santa and more. Friday visitors could this year enjoy view through telescope.

At beginning of the sky observing came sort of transparent clouds, so Moon was still visible. Many visitors including small children could enjoy nice view to the through small telescopes of the RAC members. At 8 PM clouds become so thick, that Moon was not visible anymore. It was at time, when public observing was scheduled to end anyway.
