Well, I didn't see any other club members at the NSP, but please tell me if you were there! I missed the first night (the best weather … of course). The rest of the nights (Monday thru Thursday) the skies became cloudy during astronomical twilight and there were only 1-2 hour windows (typically from 2-4 am) when the clouds parted. Bummer for me anyway. However the event was otherwise terrific! I'll put a little presentation together for a club meeting in the near future. I'd go again next year. Photos below show the crowd at the observation field and the thunder storm clouds (arrow) over the NSP tent (top) that would blow over the skies. During the day, hikes in the Nebraska state parks along the Niobrara river (for example to Smith Falls below) were great.
