I had a great night at Root River and I'll report on the cool things we saw at the next club meeting.  So far, I've got 38 Messier objects recorded for the Astro League certificate and I would sure like to get three more that are quite difficult ones (in lower Sagittarius) before they move farther west for the season.  I was hoping to go back out there tonight (31 Aug 19) but the clouds that are blowing in from the weather system originating in the Western Dakotas are going to prevent that.  Maybe tomorrow night.  If I go, I'll post something on this forum.
