Was up early this morning (July 10th) and although the temp was close to the dewpoint skies from 1 am to 3 am were good for observing (at the Fealey observatory). Mars was bright but surface detail was muted (perhaps by the near global dust storm). Saturn was glorious as usual. Milky Way was visible arching high overhead. M22, M13, M32, M110, M57 were great objects to contemplate in the 10 inch. Had to use the hair dryer at 3am to clear the optical plate prior to closing up for the night.
