4012 80th ST SE Rochester MN
Public Sky Observing of the dark sky, bright stars, double stars, nebulas, star clusters, galaxies and more by telescope with guidance members of the Rochester Astronomy Club. There will be 3.7 days old Moon above West horizon, but it will not interfere much with observation of the faint objects. At about 10:45 PM there will be Saturn rising on the East horizon. Comet C/2017 K2 PanSTARRS on hyperbolic orbit (e 1.0008) should be visible in the Ophiuchus not too far from M10 and M12 with estimated 9 mag. See ephemeris AR = 17h21m52s Dec = +01°11’03”.
