Easy Objects for Your First Astronomy Night

Have you ever wondered what you can see in the night sky? Beyond the moon and planets, there are star clusters, nebulae and galaxies that aren’t difficult to find. Some can be seen with your unaided eyes, while others need binoculars or a telescope. Join us for a presentation about the easiest and most rewarding things that the night sky offers. Afterwards, if it’s clear Rochester Astronomy Club will have telescopes set up so you can see some of them yourself.

Luka Bajzer is a father, IT professional and avid skywatcher. He has been a member of the Rochester Astronomy Club for 14 years and enjoys observing deep sky objects, outreach and dark sky events.
